Measurement videos

This is how you
correctly measure yourself.

Intro

Now to taking your measurements. With our step by step video tutorial we will guide you through the process. It's very easy and will take around 5-10 minutes of your time. All you need is a measuring tape. Keep in mind the following when taking your measurements:

  • The measuring tape should be snug but not too tight
  • A mirror helps when taking your measurements
  • Enjoy it, it's simple

1.Waistband

Let's start with the waistband: Put two fingers below your navel. Now search for the narrowest spot between the second finger and your bottom. Standing in front of a mirror will most definitely help you here once again. Make sure the measuring tape is tight on your skin but does not cut in.

2.Hip

Stand upright and place the measuring tape tight on the widest point of your bottom. We recommend standing in front of a mirror to check if the measuring tape is placed evenly on the respective area.

3.Thigh

Measure yourself tight around the widest part of your thigh, right below your crotch.

4.Knee

Already halfway through the process! Now all you have to do is measure three more places and then your Selfnation trousers are almost ready and on their way to you.

Hold your leg straight and place the measuring tape tight around your knee. Make sure that the measuring tape is placed in the middle of your kneecap.

5.Calf

Now place the measuring tape around the widest part of your calf. We recommend standing in front of a mirror. Once again the measuring tape should be tight but not cut into your skin.

6.Inside leg

We have almost finished the measuring process. One more measurement left to take and then we are done.

As a last step, place the end of the measuring tape directly below the crotch on the inside of the leg and measure yourself from the leg down to the sole of the foot. Start very close to the crotch and take the measurements down to the middle of the knee. Here you hold the measuring tape and let go of the upper part. Now you can take the measurements from the knee to the sole of the foot before reading the entire length of your leg from the measuring tape.

Congratulations, you have successfully taken your own measurements! Now it's time to wait and to enjoy the anticipation of your custom-tailored pair of trousers!
